If you are looking for an address in Japan, you can thank the Internet for making it so easy to do. At the moment, there isn't really a White Pages equivalent in Japan (the telephone directory with home phone numbers and addresses), but you can look up a business located in Japan using several different English-language websites. A quick note on how the Japanese address system works. Say you come across this address: 5-2-1 Ginza, Chuo-ku, Tokyo, 107-3293. You would read that address as meaning that the business was located in Tokyo, in the Chuo ward. In the Chuo ward, you need to find the Ginza subarea, and within the Ginza subarea you need to find the further subarea 5. Within subarea 5, you need to be in block 2. Once in block 2, you're looking for building 1. It's a bit confusing at first, but with a good map and possibly running into English-speaking locals, you'll find where you need to go.
