How to Make Homemade Bath Confetti
You can make soap confetti to give away as a gift to friends and family members. Different colors of soaps are used to create bath confetti. Soaps that have different scents will make the confetti have a pleasant mixture of aromas. Once you make your own bath confetti, you can add it to your bath water to enjoy a relaxing, aroma filled and colorful bathing experience.
Things You'll Need
- Bars of soap
- Grater or sharp knife
- Double boiler
- Shallow container
- Wax paper
- Metal cookie cutters
- Pizza cutter
- Plastic bag or jar with lid

Cut a bar of soap with a grater or chop it into small pieces with a sharp knife. Cut different colors of soap, and keep them separated from each other.

Melt each color of soap separately in a double boiler over low heat. Watch the soap as it melts and stir it frequently.

Remove the soap once it melts completely. Pour the soap into a shallow container lined with wax paper in a thin layer. Allow the soap to cool completely. Repeat the process for each batch of soap.

Cut shapes from the soap with metal cookie cutters. You can also use a pizza cutter to cut the soap into small squares. Place the soap confetti into a plastic bag or jar to store them.

Tips & Warnings
Never melt bars of soap in the microwave.
