How to Run a System Restore on a Dell/Vostro Computer

Perform a system restore on your Dell Vostro computer.

System Restore is a feature available in Windows operating systems that allows you to reset your computer settings back to a previous date. The System Restore feature also helps you fix common errors caused by software changes and Registry settings, without making significant changes to your files and documents on your Dell Vostro computer.

Instructions

1. Click the "Start" button to access the main menu.

2. Click "All Programs."

3. Click "Accessories."

4. Click "System Tools," and select "System Restore."

5. Select a date you want to restore your Vostro to, and click "Next." Your computer will automatically restart after the system restore is completed.
