A JPG, or JPEG, is an image file used with both Mac and PC programs, including Photoshop. The format is compatible with both operating systems, so there is no extra software required to change a JPG file created on a Mac in order to use it on a PC. Converting the file to a PC only requires a device capable of transporting the data from one system to another.
Insert the Flash drive into a USB port on the Mac computer. A removable device icon will appear on the desktop. Double-click the icon to open a window, displaying all the files saved on the drive.
2
Locate the JPG file you used in the Mac Adobe Photoshop program, then click-and-drag it into the open window. Once the file has finished copying, close the open window, then drag the removable device icon down to the Trash in the lower right corner of the desktop. This ejects the Flash drive from the computer system, allowing you to remove it safely.
3
Plug the Flash drive into a USB port on the PC. You should see a message stating that the computer has detected a new, removable device.
4
Click "Start," "(My) Computer," then double-click the removable device icon. This loads a window with all the files stored on the USB drive, including the JPG file. Click-and-drag the file onto the desktop (or any other location on the Windows computer). Once it has copied over you can access the information in any image program, including Adobe Photoshop
