Stack the book cover and page one together with the colored sides together. Pin an 8 inch X 8 inch quilt batting square on top of the stack. Stack the pieces in the following order; quilt batting, cover of the book face down, page one of the book face up. Using a sewing machine, stitch from the left top corner on the batting side towards the right corner. Continue around the stack, stop at the bottom left corner. Leave the left side of the stack open.

Reach inside the opening and grasp the fabric. Pull the fabric through the opening until the colored sides are visible and the quilt batting is on the inside of the stack. Stitch the opening closed. Repeat this procedure with the remaining pages. Make sure to stack the odd number page face up. Then, on top of the odd numbered page stack the even numbered page face down. Stack the quilt batting on top of the pages. Sew from the left top corner of the batting.

Stack the book pages in the correct order. Stitch the book down the left side. Cut a strip of pre-folded, quilt, binding 12 inches long. Fold 2 inches of the binding over on both ends and press the folds. Fold the binding in half length wise with the two ends folded in and iron. Place the left raw edged side of the book in the length-wise fold of the binding. Fold the binding over and pin the binding in place making sure the book is centered in the middle of the binding. Stitch down the binding.
