How to Clean the Screen of a Sony Bravia HDTV
Over time, dust will cling to the screen of your Sony Bravia HDTV, which can interfere with the clarity of images on the screen. In addition, fingerprints and spills can appear that you will need to remove. While the screen of the television is delicate, you can clean it as needed. The main thing to remember is to approach the cleaning task with a gentle touch.

Unplug the power cord of the television to avoid electrical shock.

Wipe dust from the screen with a soft cloth, such as a microfiber cloth.

Pour water into a small container and add 4 or 5 drops of mild liquid dish soap. Agitate the water with your hands to form bubbles.

Dip a section of a clean, soft cloth into the soapy water, and squeeze gently to remove excess liquid.

Wipe stained areas of the screen with the damp cloth. Dry areas thoroughly with another soft cloth.

Electronics stores sell kits designed to clean HDTV screens. If you use one of these kits, follow the manufacturer's instructions for best results.
Never use abrasive cleaning tools or cleaners, including solvents that contain thinner or benzine, as they can irreparably damage the screen.
