How do I Find a Lobby Firm?

According to the All American League of Lobbyists website, the Lobbying Disclosure Act (LDA) of 1995 required almost all people who are paid to lobby at the federal level to register with the Secretary of the Senate and the Clerk of the House. A lobby firm may be retained by a soda manufacturer that is against a new bill banning soda from schools. This corporation is an example of a business with a right to hire someone to influence lawmakers. Companies may rely on government data, directory lists and referrals to help find a lobby firm.
