How do I Retain Veterans Benefits?
The United States Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) offers health benefits to veterans that qualify. Health benefits available to members who enroll in the VA medical program include chiropractic care, mental health services and bereavement counseling. Whether you wish to apply in person, by mail, online or over the telephone, the VA has representatives available to help you get benefits.

Apply for benefits online by filling out a 10-10EZ form. According to the VA, "The fastest and easiest way to apply for enrollment and health benefits is online." As of August 2010, in order to file a 10-10EZ form online, you must have Adobe Reader 9.2 installed on your computer. If you have questions at any time during the online application process---or during any of the options for applying for benefits---call 877-222-8387 to speak to a VA customer service representative. If you wish, you may also call VA customer service to apply for benefits over the phone Monday through Friday, between the hours of 8:00 AM and 8:00 PM EST.
