How to Make a Twitter Badge

How to Make a Twitter Badge thumbnail
Create a Twitter badge or widget for your Facebook profile or website.

Expand your Twitter presence by allowing people outside of the Twitter-sphere to see your tweets. Your blog readers and Facebook friends can all be updated, mini-blog style, with the use of a Twitter badge. These badges are also known as widgets. Twitter badges only work if you have both a Twitter account and a blog or Facebook profile. This way, people who enjoy your blog or Facebook posts, but were not aware that you were on Twitter can find you and follow you to see your tweets.

Tips & Warnings

  • Put the Twitter badge in a noticeable spot on your blog. Many people have their Twitter badges on a sidebar.

  • Recognize that Facebook is different than Twitter. Generally people post more on Twitter, and your Facebook friends might not want to be inundated with all of your Twitter posts.
