How to Pack a Gym Bag
If you plan on starting a fitness routine at the gym, make sure to take everything you need. Packing a gym bag is easy enough once you have a list of everything you should pack each day. Being organized and having everything you need is one more way to ensure you'll keep up with your gym routine.

- Extra set of clothes
- Water bottle
- Hair elastics
- Hair brush
- Hair dryer
- Body wash
- Shampoo
- Deodorant
- Swimsuit
- Towel
- Flip-flops

Put an extra set of clothes in your gym bag. If you're going to the gym from work, pack tennis shoes, socks, workout shorts or pants and a T-shirt. Women should pack a sports bra. If you're going to work from the gym, wear your workout clothes to the gym, and pack your work clothes, work shoes and fresh underwear.

Include a bottle of water in your bag. Make sure it has a secure lid that won't come undone inside the bag.

Put an extra hair elastic band in your bag if you have long hair. Pack a hair brush and hair dryer, too.

Throw in toiletries such as body wash, shampoo and deodorant. You'll need these if you take a shower before leaving the gym.

Pack a swimsuit and towel in the bag, as well. The swimsuit can be worn in your gym's sauna or hot tub, and the towel can be used for the pool or shower.

Bring flip-flops if you plan on using the shower or pool. Public areas are where viruses can be transferred onto your feet, so keep them protected at all times.
