Established in 2004, Fido is a Canadian telecommunications company and a subsidiary of Rogers Wireless Inc. that offers cellular phones, data transfers and other wireless services across Canada. When calling directly is too time consuming or when you need to send a quick message, Fido also provides a text messaging service that allows individuals to send and receive text messages by means of a cell phone, Internet web-text sites or a personal email address.
