Acclaim Extra is a crabgrass killer manufactured by the Bayer company.

Acclaim Extra is a selective post-emergent herbicide used in the removal of annual weeds such as crabgrass. The product contains fenoxaprop as its active ingredient. Many gardeners prefer Acclaim because it leaves behind little or no residual effects in the soil to kill desirable plants like vegetables. The product requires a larger dosage to kill large stands of crabgrass. Acclaim Extra is manufactured by the Bayer chemical company and may be purchased in garden centers wherever Bayer products are sold.

Instructions

1. Go to the "Locate a store" application on the Bayer website. This application will help you find the nearest retail outlet that carries Bayer products.

2. Contact the retail outlet and determine if they carry Acclaim Crabgrass Killer.

3. Look for Acclaim Extra on the shelves near the weed killers. The product is sold in a white bottle with a green label. Acclaim Extra bears the Bayer logo, which consists of the word Bayer written twice in a cross-shaped pattern and superimposed into the center of a round circle. This symbol resembles a Bayer aspirin.
