      Connect your phone line to the modem provided to by your Internet service provider. Purchase a wireless router and network cards from your local electronics store or reputable online business (see Resources). Use an Ethernet cable to connect the modem to the wireless router. Follow the instructions in the manual that came with the network cards to install wireless networking cards in each computer on the network.

      Place the installation disc that came with the wireless router and network cards into each computer's CD tray. Follow the step-by-step instructions from the CD to install the software and network drivers for the router and network cards.

      Configure the wireless network. Go to the "Start" menu on one of the computers and click "Control Panel." Type "network" in the search box and select "Network and Sharing Wizard." Click "Set up a new connection or network" and select "Set up a new network." Click "Next" and use the setup wizard to enter your information and set up a network. Click "OK" to finish and close.

      Add computers to the network. Under "Network," right-click the network icon in the notification area to connect to a network. Click the network you want to connect to and select "Connect."
