1
Use a tape measure or ruler to mark out a 12-by-15-inch shape on your paper.
-
2
Fold up the bottom edge of the paper about 1 1/2 inches to form the top of the bonnet edge that is near the forehead.
-
-
3
Cut two slits in the center of the opposite edge that is about 2 inches in length and approximately 3 inches from each other. This will enable you to fold the edges downward opposite of the direction that you folded the 1 1/2 inches.
-
4
Bend the two edges of the paper until it meets in the back of the bonnet.
-
5
Staple or tape the two edges together to form the bonnet.
-
6
Punch a hole in the two sides of the front portion of the bonnet near the chin area.
-
7
Tie a knot in a piece of white yarn that is approximately 8 inches in length. Thread it through the hole on one side; pull it through until the knot prevents the yarn from going any farther. Repeat with the other side. Put the bonnet on and tie a bow underneath the person's chin.
