Tips & Warnings
Most mail servers support both the POP3 and IMAP protocols for mailbox access. Only IMAP supports the synchronization of messages and folders across multiple computers.
Your mail server might allow you to connect over an unsecure connection. Using an unencrypted connection is dangerous; A skilled hacker can steal your password this way. Always enable encryption if your server supports it.
