How to Block .Ru Email Addresses With Postini
Google's Postini services provide network administrators with a range of hosted security and archiving services. In addition to supporting website security, message encryption, message searching and message discovery, Postini also lets customers protect e-mail inboxes from spam and viruses by allowing them to maintain lists of approved and blocked senders. Unfortunately, this feature does not support the blocking of an entire top-level domain, such as .ru. You must work around this limitation by manually blocking the IP addresses associated with Russian Federation networks.

Log into the Postini Administration Console.

Click the "Choose Org" drop-down list and select your e-mail server.

Select the "Inbound Servers" tab.

Click the "Block an IP" link.

Add the IP address in the corresponding field, choose how you want to dispose of incoming messages from the address, set the duration of the block to 9,000 days and then click "Submit." To block Russian Federation e-mails completely, repeat the process for each of the following:
