How to Block Facebook in Internet Explorer 6

Facebook is a social networking site that some users find to be a time waster. Instead of working or studying, computer users spend time communicating with friends and playing games on Facebook. If you find yourself losing valuable time to Facebook, you can block it in Internet Explorer 6, a browser that has a simple site blocking tool incorporated into its settings.

Instructions

1. Launch Internet Explorer 6. Click "Tools" in the main menu bar. Scroll down and choose "Internet Options."

2. Click the "Privacy" tab. Click the "Sites" button.

3. Type "www.facebook.com" and click the "Block" button. Click the "OK" button.

4. Close all windows and restart your browser.
