Set your Apple computer to automatically join your wireless network.

If you have a network that you commonly use to connect to the Internet with your Macintosh computer, you can configure the network settings to make that network a default and automatically join it when the AirPort feature is activated. The Auto-Join tool in the "Network" settings section is found in the "System Preferences." It is useful if your AirPort detects several open networks when activated, because connecting to an open network that is unsecured puts your computer at risk for unauthorized access.
