How to Clean the Ear With Water
Ears have a natural filter in the form of wax, which prevents dirt, debris and bacteria from entering into the inner ear canal. However, over time wax can build up and become irritating or even cause temporary hearing loss. Some individuals are more prone to wax in the ears than others, requiring occasional removal. There are many ways to clean ears, but one of the simplest methods of ear cleaning is with the use of water. Does this Spark an idea?

1
Pour some warm water into a bowl. Use only lukewarm water to prevent burning the ear or surrounding skin.
-
2
Squeeze a rubber bulb syringe--available at most grocery stores or drugstores--into the water, drawing water into the bulb.
-
-
3
Tip the head to the side and place the tip of the rubber syringe into the ear.
-
4
Gently and slowly squeeze the bulb on the syringe, pushing the water into the ear. Tip the ear over a towel or soft cloth to allow the water to run back out of the ear.
-
5
Repeat five to seven times to soften the hardened wax inside the ear, which will eventually liquefy and drain out of the ear with the water. Dry the ear with a clean, soft towel.
