Disneyland first opened its doors in Anaheim, California on July 17, 1955. The park was Walt Disney's first attempt at creating an amusement park that both children and parents could enjoy. Though it was late in Disney's career when he opened Disneyland, it was a genesis for what would be a multi-billion-dollar brand and one of many Disney leisure travel options for travel agents to consider for clients. While operating a travel agency isn't traditionally a high-paying career choice, becoming a Disneyland travel agent offers the advantage of being associated with the valuable brand.
