How to Connect a PC to a Mac Vine
Connecting a PC to a Mac can be important for many reasons, including technical support. While Mac OS X 10.5 Leopard and 10.6 Snow Leopard have a "screen sharing" VNC server built-in, it is lacking in options. Additionally, if the PC needs to connect to a Mac with an earlier operating system, Vine Server is the perfect solution.
Things You'll Need
- Vine Server for the Mac
- VNC Client for the PC, such as TightVNC, RealVNC or UltraVNC

Tips & Warnings
If you were connecting on the local network only, the "Internal" address is all you need. However, it is possible to set up port forwarding on your firewall or router and use the "External" IP address to connect to the Mac from the Internet.
