Keyboard remapping software allows a user to customize keyboard functions.

Computer keyboards might seem like standardized devices that can't be amended, but keyboard remapping software allows a user to change what any key on a keyboard does. With keyboard remapping software, pressing keys in combination can perform a specific function. If there are unused keys on the keyboard, they can be used for tasks such as controlling volume or opening a specific web browser.
