How to Challenge The Montgomery County, Ohio Real Estate Tax Rate
Property tax is based on the county's appraised value of your home. In Montgomery County, Ohio, each property is reassessed every six years. If you believe your property taxes are too high, you can challenge the appraised value, which can result in lower taxes if the Board of Revision finds your complaint valid.
