How to Avoid the Proxy Server
If you don't want to use a proxy server to connect to the Internet, you have to reconfigure your web browser's connection setting options. The process of accessing your browser's connection setting options and reconfiguring them to avoid connecting to a proxy server varies slightly depending upon the type of web browser you're using. Once your web browser is reconfigured it will connect to the Internet by connecting directly to the appropriate Internet server for a particular web address rather than passing your request onto a proxy server, which would then establish a connection with the appropriate Internet server.

Tips & Warnings
If you cannot access the connections setting options for Internet Explorer because they are grayed out, there may be a group policy setting on your computer that has disabled access to your internet connections settings. Only computer administrators can reset group policy settings.
