      Pour the fresh amla juice into the canning jar.

      Stir in the sodium lactate. Sodium lactate is a gentle preservative often found in commercial foods and cosmetics. It can be found in hobby and craft supply stores.

      Secure the lid of the jar tightly and shake the contents. This thoroughly disperses the amla juice with the preservative.

      Place the jar in your refrigerator. The solution should stay preserved and usable for six months to a year.

Tips & Warnings

  • You can fill an ice tray with the amla juice and freeze it. Pop the cubes into a freezer bag and return to the freezer for future use.
