How to Mount Burton C60 Bindings
Burton C60 bindings are advanced bindings built to withstand high speeds and serious tricks. The C60 has become an established model in the Burton snowboarding lineup for riders looking to build their skills on a high-end binding. A universal installation system exists for all bindings with a 4-by-4 mounting plate, which the C60 has. The 4-by-4 plate means there are four screws that are inserted through the bindings into the board to secure them into place.

Install your bindings according to your stance. If you are a regular-footed rider, the left binding is the front binding and the right binding is the back binding. For a goofy-footed rider, the bindings are opposite. Setting this up also requires knowing which end is the front of the board.

Measure your stance width so you you know how wide to mount your bindings. If you don't know how many inches wide you prefer to stand, place your feet on the board as if you were snowboarding. Starting from an overly narrow stance, widen your feet until your stance becomes comfortable. Mark this point with a permanent marker on your board. Make a mark where the center of your foot is, or as close to this point as possible.

Select the binding angle that you prefer. This refers to the positive or negative angle you put on each binding. It is normal to have a forward angle on the front binding and a neutral or negative angle on the back binding. Practice standing on the board at different angles as you did to determine stance width. Remember or write down what angle feels best and set your stance to this angle. Remember though that it only takes a few minutes to change the angle on the hill if you decide you want something different.

Screw all four screws into the board using a Phillips screwdriver. Make sure your stance angle and width are where you want them. Before fully tightening, double check the C60 bindings are in the right place and feel good by standing in the board with your snowboard boots on and strapping the bindings on. Make any needed adjustments and fully tighten them down. Your board is ready to go.
