How do I Upload Photos From a Canon PowerShot A700?
Once you've taken photographs on your Canon PowerShot A700 you will want to upload, or transfer, them to your computer so that you can save and view them on a big screen. The process for uploading photographs to your computer is detailed in the user guide that is bundled with your camera. Once the photographs have been uploaded to your computer, you will be able to send them in emails, use them in documents, or just browse through them on your computer.

Insert the Canon Software Solution installation CD, and follow the onscreen instructions to install the software. Make sure the camera is not yet connected via USB. Once complete, click "Finish" and eject the disk.

Connect your Canon PowerShot A700 via USB cable to your computer. Turn the camera on and wait for your computer to recognize the device. if "Canon ZoomBrowser" doesn't automatically open, go to My Computer and you will see it listed as one of the external drives.

Right-click the folders list on the left of Canon ZoomBrowser and click "New Folder." Name this folder where you will be storing the images.

Click "Import images," then "From Canon Camera" and wait for the images to load into the program. Select the images you want to upload, then press "Download" to download the images to your hard drive, and upload them from the camera. Once the images have been transferred, you will be able to disconnect your camera and start taking more photographs.
