How to Replace an Oral B Cross Action's Head

How to Replace an Oral B Cross Action's Head thumbnail
Toothbrush heads must be replaced for toothbrushing to be effective.

The Oral-B CrossAction is an electric toothbrush made by Braun. The toothbrush is composed of two parts: the base, which contains the motor, and the toothbrush head, which is the actual toothbrush. The toothbrush head sports both rounded and criss-crossed angled bristles that vibrate back and forth when the toothbrush is operated. When the toothbrush head becomes worn, a replacement head can be purchased and installed. It is important that the toothbrush be replaced; otherwise, its effectiveness is severely hampered.

Instructions

    • 1

Place the Quick Release tool on the neck of the toothbrush.

    • 2

Press the Quick Release tool and slide the old head off the toothbrush.

    • 3

Place the replacement brush next to the toothbrush neck. Slide the head onto the handle until the replacement brush is in place and locked.

Tips & Warnings

  • Ensure the replacement brush is attached firmly before use.

  • Do not insert the replacement brush at an angle. This can damage the toothbrush neck or the replacement brush.
