Internet connection sharing allows multiple users to access the DSL connection through a wireless router without having an adverse affect on speed. Wireless networking provides portable network connection sharing for those using laptops who may need access to the Internet at a location other than their own home or office.

      Connect the DSL modem to one of the computers in the wireless network using either the Ethernet port or USB port on the back of the computer and the DSL Modem. Install the drivers and other software, usually located on an installation CD-ROM furnished by the Internet service provider.
