How do I Activate an Unactivated Gift Card Online?
If you purchase a gift card at a department, grocery or drug store that is prepaid, it may not activate automatically at the register. Some cards must be registered and activated online. This process is simple and can be done on a computer with Internet access.

Open an Internet browser and visit the website listed on the back of the card or packaging.

Scratch the activation code off the back of the card with a coin or your nail.

Type the code from the back of the card into the box labeled on the website and click "submit" or similar wording. It may take a moment, but your card will activate and you may be given an activation code for your records.
