How do I Unlock a Brinks 2020 Lock?
The Brinks Company was founded in 1859 and established itself as a security company for businesses and banks across the United States. In 2008, Brinks started a spinoff company for its home security sector, Broadview Security. Brinks has created numerous safety devices, from armored trucks and safes to simple padlocks. The Brinks 2020 combination lock is a small padlock used for sports bags or bike locks. It is 1 1/2 inches from the base to the top of the shackle. It is not a traditional spin-dial combination lock, but a 4-digit, resettable combination lock. Does this Spark an idea?

Close the padlock securely so the shackle is in its resting position.

Spin the top dial so that the first number of the combination is aligned with the indicator arrow above the column of dials.

Spin the second, third and fourth dials so that the second, third and fourth numbers, respectively, of the combination are aligned with the indicator.

Pull up on the shackle or push down on the body of the lock to open the shackle bolt.
