Paying the monthly rate for DSL Internet Subscriptions can be done quickly using an online interface. Paying the DSL monthly bill online saves the time of having to go to the bank or post office to mail a check, and saves the time of having to wait for the check to clear the bank. Paying the DSL bill online is done securely so that the user doesn't have to worry about his or her bank or credit card information being transmitted to those who don't need it.

Instructions

1. Visit the Internet Service Provider's billing website. The web address for the billing website is usually found on the monthly billing statement you receive in the mail.

2. 

   The web address for the DSL billing website is secure.

   Login to the billing website. Some Internet Service Providers require you to create a user account to login to the billing website.

3. 

   Paying bills online deducts the money from a checking account, or adds the amount to the balance due on a credit card.

   Locate the option to pay your DSL monthly service amount. You will be asked to enter credit or debit card information such as the card number and expiration date of the card.

4. Click the option to proceed to the next step of the payment process. The next screen you see will be a summary of charges which you are authorizing on a credit or debit card. Click the option to receive E-mail confirmation of the transaction.

5. Print the email and save a copy onto a disk. This is considered to be your receipt which shows the amount you paid and the date it was paid.

Tips & Warnings

• Many banks allow you to setup automatic checking account drafts for monthly bills. The amount of the bill is deducted from the balance of a checking account on the date the bill is due each month.
