Flash CS4 is an Adobe product used for creating dynamic objects such as audio/video and custom animations. These objects give your website a fresh and lively aspect and create appeal for your site visitors. Your Flash website will have one or more Web pages with Flash media embedded. You will upload the pages to a Web server so they are viewable to your Internet audience. Adobe Flash CS4 provides a "Publish" feature to provide the embedded object page for displaying your Flash media.

      Launch Flash CS4 and create a new document. Build a Flash animation using the different options and tools within the interface.

      Select "File" from the top menu bar and "Publish Settings..." Make sure the "Flash" and "HTML" boxes are checked. Click the "Publish" button. Click the "OK" button. This will generate the HTML and SWF files associated with your animation. The SWF file is your animation file. The HTML file is the web page which contains coding for displaying the animation (the SWF file).

      Upload the SWF and HTML files to your server using an FTP client and the credentials provided by your ISP.
