How do I Find a List of Sex Offenders in North Carolina?
In Orange County, North Carolina alone, there are more than 2,500 registered sex offenders, according to the N.C. Department of Justice. The Department of Justice operates a sex offender registry program, which is mandated by law to provide the public with pertinent information concerning sex offenders. By searching the registry, you can find out where sex offenders live, what offense they have committed and if they are under supervision or not. The sex offender registry provides a key resource for parents and concerned citizens.
