How to Update an ATI

ATI manufactures graphics cards, which plug into a computer's motherboard. The computer's monitor plugs into the graphics card, which outputs video as well as accelerating 3-D graphics and video playback. ATI graphics cards use drivers, which are installed in Windows. ATI updates its graphics drivers regularly, eliminating bugs and providing increased performance, particularly in newer games. Many new computer games recommend updating a computer's video drivers to the latest version before playing them. Download and install updated video drivers for your graphics card from AMD, which now owns ATI, as of 2010.
