How to Install SQL Server Management Tools
SQL Server Management tools, created by Microsoft, are a set of powerful tools used to create and manage all the components of SQL Server. The Management Studio integrates with other SQL Server services like Reporting, Integration and Business Intelligence. It also combines the Enterprise Manager and Query Analyzer available with the previous versions. You can write queries and scripts, modify objects with help of wizards, which reduces the complexities of complex functions played by database administrators and developers. You can install SQL Server Management Tools from the Programs and Features window of your system.

Click "Start" and select "Control Panel." Click "Programs and Features" and locate "Microsoft SQL Server."

Right-click "Microsoft SQL Server" and choose "Change." The Component Selection window will open.

Select the components you want to install. Click "Next" to open the SQL Server Installation Media window.

Provide the location of the "Setup.exe" file and click "OK." The End User License Agreement window will open.

Check the "I Accept the license agreement" option after reading the agreement, and click "Next" to open the Installing Prerequisites window. The setup program checks and installs all the prerequisite files required for the installation of SQL Server Management tools.

Click "Next" after the "Operation completed" message is displayed.

Click "Next" to open System Configuration Check window. The setup program checks for any programs that might block the installation of tools.

Click "Next" once the scan is completed and no errors are reported. The Components to Install window will open.

Select the components you want to install and click "Next." You can select the available options for reporting the errors to Microsoft.

Click "Next" to open the Ready to Install window. This window will show all the components that are going to be installed.

Verify the components and click "Install" to begin the installation process.

Click "Next" once the program completes the installation. Click "Finish" to complete the process.
