Instructions

    • 1

Purchase the hair dye. When choosing a bronze-colored hair dye, you must take into consideration your current hair color. On the back of dyes it shows what the color will look like after starting with light, medium and darker hair colors. If you already have dark hair, you may want to try a lighter shade of the bronze brown.

    • 2

Prepare the dye. Pour the dye into the base and shake well until all of the color is mixed.

    • 3

Put on the gloves provided with the box of dye.

    • 4

Squeeze the bottle of dye directly into your hair and spread it around in your hair using your gloved hands.

    • 5

Continue to do this until your hair is saturated. Double-check close to the scalp and around the ears, ensuring you did not miss any spots.

    • 6

Let your hair set for 25 minutes. If you have any gray hair, let it set for 30 to 35 minutes. If you can, twist your hair and set it upon the top of your head (without using any hairbands or clips; it will stay on its own).

    • 7

Wash the dye out of your hair. Treat it like you are shampooing your hair.

    • 8

Use the conditioner provided in the box of dye in your hair after the dye is rinsed out. Most color conditioners direct you to spread it evenly throughout your hair and let it set for two minutes before rinsing it out.

    • 9

Dry and style your hair as normal. You should notice the hair color change immediately.

Tips & Warnings

  • To ensure you get the color you want, see your favorite or a local hair dresser.

  • Setting your hair atop your head will keep the dye from rubbing off your clothes or skin.

  • Any dye that does get on your skin will go away after showering a few times.
