How to Use Quickutz Plastic Embossing Folders
Embossing paper or card stock creates an added visual touch to plain paper. Embossing is the process of pressing designs or shapes into paper to create a raised effect. It is commonly used to add decoration to scrapbooks or greeting cards but can be used to add visual flair to almost any paper project. The embossing folders come in many sizes to accommodate any project.

Choose your Quickutz embossing folder. There are endless designs available at craft stores, online and from the Quickutz website. You will also want to purchase a die cutting machine if you don't already have one. A reliable brand of die cutting machine is the Epic Tool by Quickutz.

Place the paper or card stock that you have chosen into the embossing folder and fold it.

Set the folder on top of the bottom platform.

Place the cutting mat on top of the folder. The order of placement should be: bottom platform, embossing folder, paper and the cutting mat on top.

Run the sandwiched items into the Epic Tool by placing it into the opening and turning the handle until it has completely rolled through.

Remove the paper or card stock and you will have a nice, clean imprint.
