How do I Use Watercolor Paper With Epson Stylus Photo R2400?

The Epson Stylus Photo R2400 printer has the ability to print on a number of media types, including regular printer paper, photo paper and even watercolor paper. Watercolor paper features a rougher texture than regular printer paper, providing a challenge some other printers are not designed to handle. You can set the Stylus R2400 to print clearly on watercolor paper by changing the settings for the printer's drivers. You need to reset the driver's settings back to the original settings when you need to print on another type of paper.

Instructions

    • 1

Remove any paper in the printer's input tray. Load several sheets of watercolor paper in the input tray, not exceeding the height guide in the tray.

    • 2

Adjust the paper guides to the size of the watercolor paper. Be careful to not bow the paper with the guides.

    • 3

Click on "File" then "Print" in the document you wish to print. Select "Properties" then click on the "Advanced" button.

    • 4

Click on the "Paper" tab. Select "Watercolor Paper -- Radiant White" from the drop-down menu on the tab.

    • 5

Click on "Ok" to close the advanced settings window. Click "Ok" once more to return to the print window, then click on "Print."
