The Brontok.A[10] virus is a variation of the Brontok worm infection. This infection spreads by way of email attachments. The infected email attachment asks you to download a photo attachment that contains the file "photo.zp." The Brontok.A[10] virus affects your system by modifying the registry entries, files, folders and network settings. Prevent the Brontok.A[10] virus from spreading and harming your system by removing it immediately.

      Download and install the Brontgui removal tool to get rid of the Brontok.A[10] virus. (See Resources.)

      Open the "My Computer" folder and right-click the local hard drive icon, which is typically "C." Click "Scan with Brontgui" to begin the detection and removal of the Brontok.A[10] virus.

      Select the Brontok infections that the software detects. Select the removal option and restart your computer system.

      Download and install the Malwarebytes software. (See Resources.) Repeat Steps 2 and 3 to remove the Brontok.A[10] Virus, but click "Scan with Malwarebytes" to begin the scan.

      Download and install the Super Anti Spyware software. (See Resources.) Open the program and click "Perform Full Scan." Check the Brontok.A[10] virus infections when the scan completes and choose the removal option. Reboot your system.
