How do I Use a Color Coordination Wheel for a Trim for the House?
A color wheel, or color coordination guide/wheel, is a combination of primary, secondary and tertiary colors, divided into pie pieces. Each piece represents a different color and its shades or tones. Many artists, hair colorists, photographers and graphic artists use the color wheel in their everyday work. By using the color wheel yourself, you can choose the right color for your walls, then pick out the perfectly coordinating color for the trim. Does this Spark an idea?

2
Look at that color's different shades and tones on the color wheel. For purple, different shades and tones include lilac, lavender, eggplant, red-violet, fuchsia and others. Let's say you want a soft color, so you pick lilac.

Look at the colors directly across from the purples on the color wheel. Yellows are across the wheel. When choosing a coordinating color, always use the colors across the wheel from one another. The yellow pie piece includes mustard, yellow, lemon and light yellow.
