      Turn on your Intel-based Mac and allow Mac OS X Snow Leopard to load completely. Open a web browsing program such as Apple Safari or Google Chrome and navigate to Apple's official developer website. Click on the "Technologies" link and click the "Free Download" button under the info pane that describes the Xcode developer's software. Install Xcode on your Mac using the instructions in the installation guide.

      On the Apple developer website, click on the "Programs" link on the top of the page and select "iPhone Developer Program" on the next page. Click the "Enroll Now" button to start your application to gain app posting capabilities on iTunes. Fill out the Apple Developer registration form. Use your existing Apple ID account or use the first option in the "New User" section to create a new account. For new accounts, fill in your desired Apple ID, password, name, email address, and other contact info, and click "Continue." Complete the registration instructions by logging in with your Apple ID and password.

      Select the "iPhone Developer Program" from the list of programs available for enrollment. Use your credit or debit card to enter payment information for the enrollment and click "Submit." Wait for the confirmation email to find your access number and clearance to access the Program Portal.

      Go to the iTunes Connect website to manage your applications. Log in with your Apple ID and password, click on "Manage You Applications," click "Add New," complete informational details for your application, including name and category.

      Open Xcode and click on "iPhone Dev Center" from the top menu. Use the browser on the left sidebar to locate your iPod app and click the "Build and Go" button. Wait for the process to complete and visit the iTunes Connect website to upload the binary file for your app to start the review process. Wait for the review process to finalize your submission and check iTunes for your app.
