Click the "Start" menu on the taskbar, click the "Control Panel" and click "Uninstall a Program" or "Programs and Features" if you are using Windows 7 or Vista. This launches the programs window. If you are using Windows XP, launch the programs window by clicking the "Start" menu, clicking the "Control Panel," and then double-clicking "Add or Remove Programs."

Select the TurboTax version you have on your computer, and then click "Remove" or "Uninstall." If prompted, type your administrator password and click "OK." This launches the TurboTax uninstallation wizard.
