How do I Make at Home Pizza Kits?

The best part about making a pizza kit is that it can be very simple with a few items, or you can add as many as you want to make an extravagant gift. Things You'll Need

• Wicker basket
• Red plaid terry cloth dish towel
• Natural straw
• Red cloth napkins
• Rolling pin
• Pizza pan
• Pizza cutter

• 2 wooden spoons
• Garlic press

Instructions

1. 

   You can find some great baskets online.

   Purchase a wicker basket from a garden center or party store and place a red terry cloth dish towel at the bottom. Add the natural straw. You can purchase straw at most hobby stores. Add red cloth napkins. Make sure the basket is large enough to accommodate the pizza pan.

2. 

   Instead of a pizza pan, you can include a pizza stone with a paddle.

   Place the pizza pan upright in the basket. Remove the instructions and proof of purchase. You can place it on a slant so it can hold up the other items you will be adding to the basket.

   Choose a well made garlic press, it is worth it.

   Put a rolling pin, pizza cutter, crust mix, pizza sauce, bottle of olive oil, a garlic press, bulb of fresh garlic, wedge of Parmesan cheese, oven mitt, pot holder and pizza cookbook in the basket.

   You can subsitute any of these spices.

   Add the spices--oregano, basil, garlic powder, and red pepper flakes. Remove price stickers from the spices. Tape the items on the side to hold them in place.

   You can print the recipe and laminate it, or hand write it for a personal touch.

   Place the recipe card, instructions, warranties, and proofs of purchase in the basket.

   You can also use twine to tie the pizza kit.

   Wrap the basket with clear cellophane, tie with red ribbon then hang the two wooden spoons from the ribbon.

Tips & Warnings
