How to Make a Fun Digital Frame for Your Photo for Free
A digital frame is used to spice up the look and feel of digital photo images for display, usually for the purposes of a slideshow or Web gallery. BigHugeLabs.com and FrameShow.com both offer free tools on their website to frame your photos. You could also use the LOKA Photo Editor or FrameShow's desktop photo frame software to create digital frames.

Use Big Huge Lab's free online digital photo framer service. Click the "Browse" button and select a digital photo from your hard drive to upload. Click the radio buttons to select cropping options, then select a frame style from the drop-down menu box. Click the "Background Color" box to select a background color and enter a date (if you want it to appear on the photo). Click "Add credit to image" if you'd like to add a photo credit. Click "Create" to create the digital frame around your photo.

Go to FrameShow.com and click "Download Desktop Application" to download the free digital photo enhancement software. Or select "Photo Frame Show E-Cards" from the Frame Show homepage to use their free online e-card creator. Click the "Browse Frame Gallery" button from the home page to see all the different digital frames available and select one for your photo.

Download, install and run the Loka Photo Editor software. Open an image and use the program's tools to add a digital frame to the photo. The Loka Photo Editor can add frames and borders to multiple images at once. The software comes loaded with an assortment of photo frames, but users can also download more frames and other graphics from the Loka online gallery.
