How do I Make Envelopes on a Canon Pixma MP500? thumbnail
The Canon Pixma MP500 can print envelopes from the feed tray or paper cassette.

Envelopes printed on the Canon Pixma MP500 are more attractive and easier to read than envelopes printed by hand. The Pixma MP500 will handle your personal and business envelope printing needs, but do not load more than 10 envelopes in the auto sheet feeder at a time. If you load your envelopes in the paper cassette, you will only be able to load five envelopes at a time. You can print eye-catching envelopes in 48-bit color with up to 1200 dots per inch.

Instructions

Load your envelopes into either the auto sheet feeder or the paper cassette. If you choose the cassette, stack the envelopes on the right side of the cassette and adjust the paper guides; press the "Feed Switch" on the printer until light beside "Cassette" lights up and select "Envelope" for the "Media Type" then choose the size envelope in the "Page Size." If you are loading the envelopes into the auto sheet feeder, place the envelopes with the flap down and to the left; adjust the paper guide and press the "Feed Switch" until the light beside the "Auto Sheet Feeder" lights up. Set the rest of the settings the same as for the cassette feeder.
