How do I Change Blackberry Phone Application Settings?

You can customize installed applications that are used by a BlackBerry phone with a few simple clicks. The available options are to "Allow" the application trusted status, "Deny" the application, "Prompt" to ask each time the application tries to run, or set up "Custom" permissions. The "Custom" option is only applicable when there are multiple permission choices and there are some set as "Allow" while others are set as "Deny" or "Prompt."

Instructions

1. Click on "Options" icon from the main menu. This icon looks like a wrench.

2. Click "Applications" from the list of choices. Click the BlackBerry button to bring up the menu.

3. Click "Edit Permissions" to edit the permissions specific to the highlighted application or "Edit Default Permissions" to edit the phones standard permissions.

4. Click "Connections" and select the options that you need. Then click "Interactions" and set the needed options. Last click "User Data" and select the options needed there.

5. Click the back button which is the arrow immediately left of the red phone symbol and select "Save."
