Open the battery compartment on the back of your Sharp SPC364 atomic clock. Insert one AA alkaline battery into the battery compartment, making sure to observe the correct polarity. Replace the battery in your clock whenever the digital display starts to appear dim.

Set the time zone on your Sharp atomic clock so that it can receive the correct radio-controlled time updates. Press the "Mode" button to enter the time zone setting screen. Press the "Set" button to highlight the appropriate time zone. Return the clock to regular timekeeping mode by pressing the "Mode" button again.
