How do I Make a HP 2133 Camera Work?

HP 2133 is a mini-computer (netbook) that comes with a built-in webcam you can use to take photos, record videos or video chat in messaging programs such as Skype or Yahoo Messenger. The built-in webcam generally fails to work if the driver is corrupt or damaged. Repair the webcam quickly and safely by reinstalling the driver from the HP website.

Instructions

1. Restart your computer to reset the webcam driver.

2. Go to the HP Support page (see Resources). Click the "Download" button next to "HP Webcam" to download the webcam driver. When prompted, click "Save" and save the driver installation file to your desktop.

3. Double-click the webcam installation driver and click "Run" to launch the installation wizard. Follow the guided prompts on the wizard to complete the installation. Restart your computer.

4. Launch your messenger, media or photo application and test the webcam.
