How do I Obtain a Certificate of a Mustang Cobra?

No paperwork is required.

You're proud of your Mustang Cobra; show the world just how proud with a Certificate of Authenticity from Ford. In August of 2010 Ford made the process of obtaining the certificate easier by allowing you to order it from its website. Prior to this you had to send all of the information through the mail and wait weeks for your certificate. The Certificate of Authenticity comes with a "Thank You" letter welcoming you to the Ford family.

Things You'll Need

• VIN number
• Model/Year
• Credit/Debit card

Instructions

1. Go to the Ford SVT or SVO Certificate page on the Ford Show Parts website. Both pages are listed in the resources.

2. Select the model/year of your Mustang Cobra and type in your VIN number. Select the number of certificates you want and click "Add to cart." The cost is $40 as of 2010.

3. Review your shopping cart and click "Proceed to checkout." Click on the link "Click here to continue the Check Out process." Type all of your information into the appropriate fields with information that matches your credit/debit card. Click "Continue Checkout" at the bottom of the screen.

4. Type in your credit/debit card information and select your shipping method. Click "Process my order" at the bottom of the screen once and wait for your confirmation to load. Do not click "Process my order" multiple times or your credit/debit card may be charged more than once.
